On Sunday, August 9, we will reintroduce Sunday Kids programs at New Hope.
A Note From Kids Pastor Cortney
Hello NHkids Fams!
We are so excited to by back IN-PERSON this Sunday, August 9th for our 9:30 am and 11:00 am services!
Elementary kiddos (K-5th) will be meeting in the large children’s chapel (Room 230) in the main building. Please make sure to check your child in using one of our check-in kiosks. There have been a few modifications that we hope will make your check-in experience faster and more user friendly. You might have to take a few extra minutes when checking in for the first time back.
We will be taking the temperatures of all kiddos as they arrive upstairs, using a contactless forehead thermometer. If any child has a temperature of over 100 degrees, we will ask that they remain with you and not attend kids church this Sunday. Masks are not required, but they are encouraged. Kiddos and volunteers that choose to wear a mask will be welcomed and loved, right along with those who choose not to do so. We will try our very best to practice cleanliness and social distancing as much as possible. Chairs will be spread out, and hand sanitizer and hand washing will be utilized frequently. We will also be thoroughly sanitizing the kids church area between services.
Please understand that we love your family and we would absolutely love to see you, you are so precious to us! However, we also totally understand if you are not quite ready to rejoin us yet. Pastor Cortney will continue to provide online resources via email and facebook to keep your kiddos connected. We also encourage you to download and utilize the ParentCue App, as it lines up with all that we are teaching on a weekly basis.
Our official “promotion Sunday” will be Sunday, August 23rd. However, if your child will be a kindergartener during the 2020-2021 school year, you are more than welcome to bring them to kids church right away. While some kiddos will be more comfortable returning to the early childhood area, we understand that others might transition better by coming upstairs right away on August 9th. Please feel free to do whatever you feel will be best for your child. If you would like to stay in our service with your child of any age, please feel free to do so. We want to make this transition back to kids services life-giving and comfortable for your family. Please remember, that we are pastors and not politicians or medical personnel, please don’t put us in the middle of any current controversy. We love you so much and it is our heart to serve you the very best we can. We want everyone to feel safe and loved at NHkids.
If you have any questions, please DO NOT HESITATE to contact Pastor Cortney at firstname.lastname@example.org. We cannot wait to see you at NHkids!!!
Love you so much!
