New Hope Kids
Build a Good Foundation of Faith
We firmly believe and practice Proverbs 22:6,
“Start children off on the right path. And even when they are old, they will not turn away from it.”
After entering Kindergarten, New Hope Kids serves as a special environment for elementary-aged through fifth-grade kids to grow in their faith.

Foundations and Transitions is a class specifically designed for 5th grade students. Each meeting includes a time of teaching, fun activities, and personal interaction. Through this one-year class, students review the foundations of their faith and prepare for the transition into middle school by learning about Godly self-esteem and how to handle themselves in interpersonal relationships. Perhaps one of the most special things about this class is that it’s taught by our awesome senior pastor, James Weaver!

Resources & Materials for Parents of NH Kids
New Hope cares deeply about the safety and personalized care of your child. We use thorough and accountable check-in, registration, and background check systems to ensure a secure environment for your kids. If your child has any special needs, please contact Pastor Cortney.
The NH Kids curriculum is built around 252 Basics (a curriculum especially for K-5th graders) and based on the truths of wisdom, faith, and friendship that are amplified through 36 monthly virtues and 150 Bible stories taught in class. After class each week, kids are sent home with weekly devotionals and a parent cue card so you can encourage and nurture your child’s spirituality at home throughout the week.
NH Kids operates on three simple rules: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Ready to Learn.
If a child chooses to disrespect our adult helpers, they will receive a warning. After three warnings, parents will be contacted either immediately or after the conclusion of the service. If a child curses, becomes violent, or runs away, you will be immediately contacted and they will be removed from the classroom for the remainder of that service.
Get instant access to over ten-thousand great videos for kids, teens, and adults on many different topics. Sign up for free through New Hope to take advantage of this opportunity to nurture even your little ones with knowledge and love of Christ.
Upon your child’s first visit to NH Kids, come to the New Family Check-in counter next to the Welcome Center in the lobby. A team member will register your child in our system with family contact information and other pertinent information. After registration, you will be given a nametag for your child and a receipt. Your child will be walked back to their age-appropriate classroom where the fun begins! To check out your child, simply bring the receipt back to the check-in counter. A team member will then bring your child and their belongings back to you.
BGMC is the missions education program for children in the Assemblies of God and New Hope. Kids learn about spreading the gospel overseas and raise funds in order to send supplies to existing missionaries.
We’re always excited to add new help to the NH Kids volunteer team. If interested, contact Pastor Cortney to start the background check and screening process.
