Relationships—they’re in our DNA.
One of our guests recently told a pastor, “This is the biggest small church we’ve ever attended.” That person saw what many of us already know—New Hope values relationship. Life Groups are our continued, intentional effort to be a relational church that values people over programs.
As we continue to grow, it’s easy to become detached from others in the church unless we all make a purposeful effort to stay connected on a personal level. The best way to do that is through small, tight-knit groups. These groups fit Jesus’ own model for discipleship and resemble how the New Testament church functioned on a day to day basis:
Acts 2:42-47—They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer… They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
Acts 5:42—And every day in the Temple and in people’s homes they continued to teach and preach the Good News about Jesus the Messiah. (Good News Translation)
Life Groups meet in an informal, home setting to provide a comfortable environment for people to connect spiritually and socially as they share faith, fellowship, life experience and prayer time. We invite you to become part of a Life Group that’s just right for you! Start the process by signing up for a Life Group today.
